On December 8th, I started designing a structure that resembled something I had seen before: a mimicking strategy. I wanted the
mechanism to be as similar as possible in its shape and form to other mechanisms I saw, which had, in many cases, no evident shape or form.

Later, I decided to call it 0rch1d, as a metaphorical construction of zeros and ones (0-R-C-H-1-D), since orchids are known for mimicking other flowers and insects to attract pollinators.
